Joshua Demeter, Loan Officer

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me through my website. Please visit my Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/MilitaryLoanOfficer/. I hope this message finds you well and that I have the opportunity to get to know you in return. I’ve put together a short biography to introduce myself to you both as a person and as a mortgage professional. My hope is that you will feel comfortable and confident working with me to accomplish your financial goals through the mortgage lending process.

I started in the mortgage industry over a decade ago working for a small mortgage broker in San Diego, California helping potential homeowners with financing and existing homeowners with leveraging their residential assets to achieve greater financial freedom. In 2005, my business partner and I decided to expand our reach and we opened up a commercial lending company to provide financing on commercial properties. We grew the business over the next 2 years before deciding to step away from the mortgage industry all together. I returned to mortgage financing in 2012 and haven’t looked back. I absolutely love helping people achieve their financial goals through residential and commercial lending!

When you work with me, you can expect that I will treat you and your situation the same as I would treat someone in my family. I am a creative problem solver and with the resources provided to me through American Financial Network Inc., I can confidently say if there is a way to get your loan done, I will find it. I approach each scenario with 1 ultimate goal: to provide you with the option(s) that will benefit you the most. I believe so deeply in that philosophy, that if another lender offers you a better deal, I will encourage you to take it. I will never put my interest ahead of yours.

I am a veteran of the United States Navy serving 6 years on active duty until being medically discharged in 2002. I currently serve as a Navy reservist stationed at the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, California. I was also a dolphin trainer at Sea World San Diego from 2002 until 2004. I have a lovely wife and 5 children ranging from 14 to 21.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with you. I hope to be a trusted advisor for you, your family and your friends for many years to come.
